The Cycle

Soft sunset
gentle breeze
I say to you
"Love Me Please"

Whispering silence
quiet pain
I'll wait for you
Come back again

Stinging words
Painful things
Take me away
Please, give me wings

Emotions,
Love's most wonderful way
To let you know
I love you, today.

Hello everyone...I truly hope you enjoy my poetry.  This is my first post so I am really nervous about everyones perception of me and my writing.  I've been writing for about 10 years now but this is the first time I've ever opted to publicly display my work.  Please feel free to post your ideas and suggestions. Or contact me by e-mail to maybe offer helpful hints and ideas to improve my works.  Thank you.  CMG

This is a very sweet first entry, and you're starting out fine.  Let me be the first to welcome you, and assure you that you have nothing to worry about

CMG-
WELCOME ABOARD!
This place is like no other
and you'll lack in sleep for a few weeks
(at least)
And as for getting to know everyone through their writings:
HAHAHA!
So many character traits
which are ever changing with the seconds.
Keeps it interesting.
Great entrance with this writing
and again
WELCOME!

Thank You JF for your welcome.  Again, I thank everyone for welcoming me and my poetry.  I don't have much experience with poetry posts or with HTML but I am studying hard at them both...at least as hard as I can anyway.(HAHA).  I hope to hear more form each of you as time passes.

Thank You.

Hi Chris, welcome to Passions.    I'm sure you will enjoy your stay with us.  I enjoyed this read very much, it was sad and very well expressed.  I especially liked the first stanza.  Look forward to reading more of your work.  So don't be shy!

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

And Chris, you don't have to respond to thank everyone for every comment.  If you do that, you'll have little time to write new poems, and we all understand that.  So read our poems, comment as you feel like it, and post some more for us . . . and you don't have to answer this.
