Happy Heart Day, Everyone!

"Roses are Red", so they say.
Yes! I do believe it's true.
"Violets are Blue", and the such~
simple words, always sounding so new.

A little poem instilled in us
from since we were wee tots,
to teach us of Valentine's promise of love,
embellished with forget-me-nots.

I'll take today to spend some time
indulging in poetic grace,
for Valentine's is but one day of
what you can get all year at Passion's Place.

To Ron Carnell ~ hats off to you
for providing a place to unveil
emotions ranging from highs to lows,
speaking of heavens and hell.

We each bring in our own feelings
oft worn on torn heart-sleeve,
but once we've tasted a forum morsel,
we're sure to never leave.

Happiest of heart days to you
~all of my passionate friends~
Wishing only good Cupid-ly deeds
will come to each of you, with no unhappy ends!
