MEMORY

For love is mightier than sorrow,
Time shared today, the past tomorrow,
And dreams but tiny crystal sands
Slipping through the tightest clinched hands;
I fear I must now step away,
Though so much more I long to say.
Still ever will I hold in thought
The dream my scarred hands could hold not.

And ever will I dance by night
With memory yet graced in white,
But by day ne'er 'gain call the name
That my love only could give shame.
For sorrow ne'er could pay this price
Nor would understanding suffice.
And so by shadow shall I live,
Ne'er ‘gain with a heart free to give.

But by happiness wished full fled
May love reach you, unlimited.
May every hope your heart holds true
By God's blessing be granted you.
By gentle kiss on starry night,
Forever Love, I'll hold you tight.
If but in dreams never to be,
I'll be loving you in memory.

Michael

Wonderful, 'sniff', 'sniff', I shed tears of sorrow at this lovely, touching poem, with words express how your deepest heart feels .

Michael~

Sometimes it has to be enough ...
to just to have loved.
Gain from the tender feelings
stirred ... and love will come again.

I wish you both happiness to be found.

Said simply and sadly...this verse is wished right back to you!

So sad, Michael. I can feel your pain. Some day the memories will bring happiness. It just takes time. Beautiful poem, of course.

Michael...this is absolutely beautiful but haunting in its sadness. If it is truly over, I hope the memories will last you a long time. You have known love that is true and pure, not everyone has the ability to say that.

Michael this was sad! But so touching in how you state it!
This is really heartbreaking. Remember the lines of communciation must stay open. I don't know what's going on, but I think it needs to be talked about. Let God lead you both in conversation!  Which ever way it goes, know that God only has the best for both of you in mind!  You will both be in my prayers.

Beautiful poem, Michael... so tender in its delivery, gracious and pure in its message. It brings an ache even to my heart.

Take care,

For love is mightier than sorrow ...

What a powerful line.  Indeed it is, and in the end it shall conquer.  Blessings and wishes of happiness.

Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

Another great writing Michael.
I had hope`d that your heart would have the flow of love running thru it by now.
Im sorry to see that thing`s didn`t go as you (and most of Passion) had hope`d it would.
I know that at time`s like this we sometime`s feel as if lightning has struck.
I wish for sunnier,brighter day`s for you.
Good Luck and God Bless Michael.

In the most sincere way... that was heavy stuff.  Sorrowful and caring... Sorry you had to feel that pain to write something so well.  Top shelf material this one is. Thanks for sharing... I bow to you and yours.

Thank you all for your kind and caring words.  Your friendships have helped me through a very difficult time.  I will not forget those who have been there for me, those who have tried to comfort the pain of a human being and not pass judgements for a human being's imperfections.
