Do not stars sing a loving hymn
of dreams commenced
when day grows dim?

A piece of light
in darkened night
for all who dare believe
in stories old
in heaven told
of wings of gold
for angels to receive!

Would you not fly
through sullen sky
where heaven does embrace
a child's plea
and memory
of your loving face?

To you I bring
amidst these wings
a song of moonlit streams
and kisses sweet
of where we'll meet
if only in our dreams!

Welcome to Passions! I like this poem, such beautiful sentiments it contains. I especially like the last stanza.
