(This is a repost)

A Walk in The Sun

Shallowing in a tropic sea
Gathering antiquity's birth
I dawdle in serenity.

The body warms in sundry rays
From whimsy's sip of mental mirth
A tea baptismal in the waves.

Absorbed in my temerity
Left high and dry from neap's full worth
I steep in rare exotic tea.

Sacrosanct and minuscule.
With inquiries of a fool.

Well I got my suit, snorkle and fins, where is this place. Oh, yes I got my favorite tea cup too.
Such nice imagination Seymour< !signature-->

 The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Seymour-
Only you would use the 'neaps'
and remind me of the midway tides
so affected by the moon that I love
to write about.
My, how I'm fascinated.
You continue to amaze me.

From Sy's poetry I always reap
A wealth of new words such as "neap"
To many this word's within reach
But I live far from any beach
So to my dictionary I ran
To try to keep up with this man

But that's impossible!
(In fact,I had to look up a couple. I'm quite ignorant)
But the poem is reminscent of many days along other shores. Very lovely, Sy
Love ya

Ah, serene and lovely! In this fastpaced world, we need a poem like this..

What I wouldn't give for a nice "dawdle in serenity" right now, Sy.  Great poem, I could feel the warmth on my face.

Oceanic sound
Remands to me
The wisdom of the deep.

Resurgent pound
A heark'ning sea
In surfeit at its neap
~~~
as is your poetry, my friend...
Hey there Sy - missed ya!!
Well, only you would use the word neap - yep, only you! And of course it works well. Quite a lovely poem I must say.
How are you anyway?
