Heaven or Hell ?

My eyes are blind,
my mind is numb,
my soul is down and blue,
there's nouthing left for me to do,
I feel so confused .
My heart is split between two worlds ,
torn straight down through the mid,
the cherubs stopped there holy song,
and flew away and hid .
The mist has come,
in clouds above,
the blanket covers me,
the truth is gone,
this can't be love,
that's come to set me free .
Angels guard the silent route,
upto the glowing gate,
I can't let temptation,
hamper me,
or I'll never reach my fate .
But what is this,
I have a doubt,
growing in my head,
don't make me chose,
which road to take,
or I'll never get it said .

So many path`s we must chose from as we go thru life.
It would be a perfect world if we all knew in advance which path to take.
Nice job Angelswing
I hope you chose the one that is best for you.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Thanks to both of you, I think that we all have to make a lot of choises, I have decided that from now on I am just going to follow the road and let it take me where ever it leads, I will probably delete this poem soon because I have it posted up twice by accident ! Sorry . Hope that any choises that you both have to make in the near future go the write way for you .

***Tom,
To paraphrase "The Crucible",
whatever choice you make, know that a good man has made it.

Nicely done my friend, I must say I agree with the comment made by mete out.

The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look of recognition.

Wow this reminds me of a poem I wrote years ago.
Hard things to think about really - good poem!

as for me, I chose the road less traveled by and that made all the difference.....

You are in good company, Tom.  Great work.
