TWO OF A KIND

Some people search forever,
But still they never find
That person who completes them,
In soul, body, and mind.

Now, I gave up searching long ago,
I never thought it would be.
I could find someone so special
That I felt was just for me.

But somewhere in the darkness,
There came a gentle touch,
Offering a love I never knew,
Yet needed oh so much.

With kindness and compassion,
Your words wrapped around my heart.
You filled me with a warmth inside,
My own love to impart.

Though miles stretched between us,
I always felt you near.
As if Destiny seemed to pull
Two lost souls very near.

Still the time and distance,
Wasn't always roses I know.
But still I feel we've come too far
To just let this thing go.

Yet I know not what's in your heart,
Know not what's on your mind.
I only know I'm feeling I'm
Not what you hoped to find.

I only know I'm missing
A feeling I've only held in you.
But how can you be my soulmate,
If I'm not your soulmate, too?

Michael Anderson

I love you Genny, and always will.

Awwww, how sweet Michael   You are a lucky guy and I hope she makes you feel more worthy of her feelings soon   I am sure she loves you just as much, even if it seems she doesnt. Have faith.

I am not a poet, I am merely one who speaks in emotion

Ya know, you two look so different from the pics you have posted here!  Things will work out, you both have God at the head of your lives, you can't go wrong there. Trust in Him to help!

Which way is right for you,
Stop and softly ask yourself,
What Would Jesus Do?

Michael,
the two of you look very nice together.(in the picture that was up there before it was changed)...
However like they say,Good Thing`s come to those who wait.
I don`t know who they are but I do know that Love Take`s Time.
And if your trip together didn`t turn out to be a "Love Connection",well Im sure the two of you will always have a very special friendship.
Good Luck to both of you

Michael,
        it's easy to have those doubts. . . I had them. . . still do. . . just give it some time. . . it'll work out. . . I know that it will. . .

I've never met two people that deserved happiness more than you and Gennifer...things will work themselves out soon enough...you'll see!!! Very touching picture too!

Michael, this is a sad yet beautiful poem...Just hang in there, give it time and it will work out.

Wow Michael this is the most beautiful poem.
You are so full of love and full of doubt
I'm full of the feeling it will all work out.
