Between the Lines

I don't need dirty books,
                    x-rated movies
                    or obscene words
                    whispered in my ear.
You don't need soft music,
                    candlelight,
                    romantic sighs
                    and mushy poetry.
So I'll compromise
                    and write erotic poetry
                    springing from the thoughts
                    that lie hidden in my mind.
I won't use 4-letter words
                    that describe the act of sex
But I'll give you enough
                    to make you stop and think.
I'll lead your imagination
                    between the lines
And leave the mystery
                    between my thighs.
