Love without thought.

Uplift me you said
and I took you in my arms
and we did the dance of love.

Inspire me you said
and I sang my song of love to you
till tears streamed down your cheeks

Elate me you said
and with a flourish
I handed you a single white rose

Move me you cried
and I wrote a sonnet
of such boundless devotion
you had no words to express your joy

Change me you said
and I looked at you,
and would change nothing

Please me you smiled
and I took your hand in mine
and caressed each finger with my lips

Love me you whispered
and without a moments hesitation,
I did.
