Falling down to a bed of rose petals
A stench of death rolled off my fingers
Drinking honey from bees sweet nectar
But it wasn't free of all the stingers

Taking to the bed of soft rose petals
And drinking a sour concocted brew
I watched good friend David Letterman
Until my eyes turned a crimson hue

I locked the door to my confinement
A self imprisonment self imposing
With the angel of death and friends around me
We napped as the fire kept us dozing

After great times of this abandon
In spring while walking down the Thames
No I have not been to California
And as to England I feel the same

I glimpsed a girl who was my maiden
She was milking cows off in the stable
To my boss I said as I woke this morn
I will come to work if I feel able

 Did Jesus laugh?
I think He did,
'cause He was once
a little kid;
and all of us
were made with joy
both sugar-spice girl
and snake-snail boy!

Just like you said it's way out there
Good one way cool to

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Is this about the morning after the night before because I was there the night before and believe me it wasn't a pretty site, in fact it gave me such a headache I had to call in sick to work the next day and stay home and watch Judge Judy which just made my headache worse...

There! Whew! A WOW reply ...

Cute poem..hope your hangover hangs on!

Hello again...and nope, it's not about a "booger" as you call it.  (I can not believe I just wrote that)

Another ponder, ponder poem.  But, I thoroughly enjoy a poem you have to read more than once to gain the taste of it.  Well done! (er...nice boogie?) Passions (eeeks, I did it again!)

I found this lurking on page four
And thought it should stay there no more
So here I bump you back to one
Another round before you're done....
