I wrote this after reading a book my Mom gave me many years ago, I hope you like it..............

Do you know me?
We've been together before
in many lifetimes
and still many more

We rejoin our soles
in each physical state
to make ammends
and clear the slate

Will you remember me
the next time we meet?
Will our roles be different
or maybe they'll repeat

With choices made
and lessons learned
through these lifetimes
Heaven is earned.

I thought this was a great little poem, I especially enjoyed it because it was a little shorter and more simple, easier for me to understand, ya see
And I think you meant "souls" instead of "soles" on line 5.    Cool post, enjoyed

SEA-
I will remember you,
no matter where I go
you will come along,
written on my soul.

If we should meet again,
I can promise you,
no matter where we are
I will remember you.

*See, SEA ... I'm inspired by your question.

I've certainly had that feeling, Of knowing someone without having met them before. Very nice poem. I enjoyed reading it. Thank you.

You echo my tenet
You echo my soul

Dusk, yep, I meant "souls"- I had my two nephews here this morning. Things were crazy. Sorry for the misspelling. Glad you liked it anyway.

Marge, that was a beautiful reply!

Bbuzz,Thanks!

Liz, Loved the reply, thank you!

Gene, glad you liked it!

A few times, I've had the privilege of meeting someone I was so comfortable with and liked so much I thought we must have had a headstart somewhere. *G* This is great, SEA... well done!

Many people have this belief of kindred souls continually meeting throughout eternity. It's a fascinating concept and could easily be true. I'd like to think so. Excellent poem, Sea.

I too believe there is a high probability all this happens, unbeknownst to many of us.
Wonderful theory, wonderful poem.  And may I ask the title and author of the book.???

Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

Suthern, me too! Thanks

Balladeer, your praise makes me feel good! I'd like to think so too! Thank you!

Isis, the author is Dr. Brian Weiss(not sure exactly on spelling of last name) and he has a few books,'Through time into Healing' and there is another I read called'Many lives,Many Masters' or vice-versa. It's been a while. They are really very good books! You would enjoy them! Glad you liked this

Great poem, SEA--I liked the way you approached this subject....I believe that some souls are just destined to continue meeting through eternity--"soul mates", if you will.....      Nice work!
