Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way
~Marge Tindal~

I've never known a wrong love
They've all been right for me
I love the love I'm in,
no matter whether
short the time
or for eternity

The nicest thing about love
is that it comes so often
The many hearts I've held,
the many hearts I've softened

I find love in every place
I find it everyday
I'll never be without it,
Love is here to stay

I've known love that's
lasted for years,
and love that was
only for the moment
I wouldn't trade
one for the other,
as love
is love
as I've known it

I've never known love
that didn't last
for the time that I was in it
I've known some that lasted forever,
and some that lasted but a minute

All the loves in my life
have been important to me
I'll keep on loving love
as long as I breathe

So simple in its focus, yet so broad in its scope. It's hard to live life solely for love, especially after some seasoning, but you provide the tools to try. Thanks for sharing. Wonderfully written.

Mike-
Glad you enjoyed it.
We don't live 'solely' for love,
but, love lives within our soul.

SEA-
You show up to read and leave a smile
where you've been.  Thank you.

Alina-
Glad to know you're there.

Bev-
Ahhhh !  Another soul who stores the
memories within.
With those thoughts ... much more love
will enter to stay.
Thanks for liking.

Marge I Love your poetry sometimes.   A lovely poem about Love...you amaze me when you create such beautiful poetry.   I especially  enjoyed the line "I've known Love thats lasted for years, and Love that was only for the moment."  I'm listening to the Bee Gee's singing why did you have to be a heart breaker.  A reminder of the other side of Love.   Take care,  James

Your words are wise, Marge...

"I've known love that's
lasted for years,
and love that was
only for the moment
I wouldn't trade
one for the other,
as love
is love
as I've known it"

Wonderful point of view. Each love has its merit, and each is a gift. Thanks for giving us this to read today.

JMLee-
You are a romantic heart.
I feel it in your writing.
We all have been aware of the
'other side' of love at one time
or another in our lives.
Here's a hug for your 'other side'.

Love, you amaze me with your tenderness.
Thank you for liking what I write
'sometimes' ... I'm glad this was one
of those times.
Smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Elizabeth, my friend-
Well, you know me very well.
Open heart ... full of love.
Always willing to share.
Thanks, buddy.
Claire-
Thank you.
I've known much
love in my life
and continually enjoyed it
in different ways.
Some have come ...
some have gone,
but I loved each one
that passed my way.
Ted-
Thank you for your perceptions.
If I've given you something to remember,
then you've read my heart.
What a lovely poem. When you're in love, it always seems right, at the time.
"I'll keep on loving love" -- great line.
Great ... then that pleases me.
Thank you, Denise.
Gene-
Thank you for 'love'ing it.
It's more about being WITH love,
than IN it.
Love is always right when you're 'in' it ..
and often more beautiful when love is in you.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
So with other words you will keep on loving me
Such wise words for a young lady there Marge
But beautiful written I have to admit
and so true
Marge, your thoughts of love are so mind-boggling....and true. Sometimes people forget that the subject in "I love you" is "I". What you put into it is what you get out of it. If it doesn't work out, then you try it again and relish in the feelings that being in love gave you. Your poem is beautiful and so right
Helmut-
I will caress you with a verse
of love when it sighs.
Hug you with a look,
sent through these green eyes.
Love you with a heart
that loves the love I'm in.
Send you a well-worn smile
that tells you where I've been.
Always I'll remember
the loves that I've known,
loves that have stayed
and loves that have gone.
Love that returns
time after time.
Love that belongs
in this heart of mine.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Balladeer-
I see why I think so much of you.
Our hearts are in tune ...
and our minds reap the harvest.
But not very mind-boggling ...
just open and honest.

You know that what you think means
the world to me.
I squeeze you with my heart !

Love you ~*Marge*~

Marge,
Love is the pulse of the soul,
Without it in our hearts,
Life is just a journey through a desert,
Of which I want no part.

This was beautiful and I feel exactly the same way.  There are so many kinds of love to experience each day, and I don't want to miss a single one either.   (HUGS)

 Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

Thank you for your verse.

With your point of view
you won't miss out on love,
it'll come flocking to you.

Love is love ... indisputable.
Enjoy it each day.
It will fill your life and your heart.

Munda-

To think that this one little thought from my heart reached out and touched yours is so inspiring to me as a writer.

I simply pen what my heart thinks and I truly feel that every love I've ever known has left me richer for having visited within my heart.
Even the pain of someone leaving hasn't diminished the joy that they brought into
my life while they were here.

My joy is in loving what they left ... memories that only that one could bring.
Thank you for loving it.

Pepper-
Hon, if I 'spoke your heart' ...
then you have a very loving heart, indeed.
I think I already figured that out.
So touched that it was liked by you.

Oh Marge those two hugging dogs are to much.  I can feel the love in those hugs.  I think you stirred me up a little bit.
So Marge, you think I have a romantic heart, and of course you can tell.
The reason being, Marge, you have a romantic heart as well.
You have now inspired me to write a poem for you and of course everyone else, and I have in fact already written it but I will not be posting it until later tonight when I get off work, and I work until 11:00 p.m.  If you want to read it the title will be "Beauty of Love".  Post time is about 10 hours from this moment...   James
