Memories

Memories of a time long ago
Remembering the good and bad times we shared
You were my star my light
Then you were gone
Forever…..
One moment changed my life
Did he not see you?
Did he not know?
That drinking and driving
Just don’t go
You were my best friend
How was I to go on?
Your memory lives on
You are truly misted
Your time came too soon
Our time too short
You hold a place in my heart
A place in my life

CatWoman-
Having lost a brother to the irresponsibility of a drunken driver,
this one touches my heart.
I'm sorry about your friend.
Thank you for sharing.
