Between You and Me! I stand here by the sea Facing the horizon that I know, leads me to thee How cruel the world, that Our lands are separate How cruel to deny us That Physical touch Shared by lovers as such. But the sea in between Carries the dreams You and I have seen Sends in the waves of Passion, and desire which Runs through our bloodstream I call out, I love you! And pray that the sea Carries this back to thee Where you stand On the other side Facing the horizon Which leads you to me. Dark Angel What comes from the heart goes to the heart. Samuel Coleridge |
