A thousand kisses upon your treasured lips
A thousand whispers in the dark like this
And still I'm not satisfied

A thousand prayers for a chance to wish
These feelings not be denied
It's too late to turn back now,
Nor would I, even if I knew how
For the sun returns to the sky,
And I have given all my heart will allow,
Yet I do not question why

A voice like a flower's fragrance so sweet,
A chance to fall in love again when we meet
That's what I see beyond the door
As I stand upon my frozen, aching feet;
I'm not tired, but want you more

A thousand times a thousand days,
And I would love you a thousand ways

I love the ending couplet.  Beautiful!

 It matters not how strait the gate;
How charged with punishments the scroll;
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Absolutely beautiful...reminds me in a way of one of mine

Hold me a thousand times
one for each teardrop
my eyes have shed

Kiss me a thousand kisses
one for each heartache
my heart has felt

Rock me to sleep a thousand nights
one for each night
I dreamed of you

And love me a thousand years
one for all the years
I will love you

I'm sorry I never read that one. They are similar. That is so weird. Eerie even.
