Art Takes A Holiday

Were art for thou?
Would that it be?
At the beach?
In the snow fall’s
Call to arms?
In a single drop of
Salty water
Rejoining the cistern
And the brethren
In random notes
Mixed with fresh,
And clean?

Ah, this is refreshing.  Very different than most!  I really like it.  I have read it several times and I am still trying to get it.  It is beautiful whatever it means.  Sometimes I am "slow" to getting things.

Nice poem Mars!!!! I love poems that make you think...ones that aren't inherently obvious!!  Very cool!!

Welcome to Passions!!!!!!

I loved your word choice, word play and message. One thing though, I hope you didn't mean "cistem" for system. Otherwise, you made fun of pretentiousness with more pretentiousness. Either way, I really enjoyed this.

Hey Mars...welcome to Passions, you'll like the work and diversity here.

Loved the cistern and the brethren! I always like your free~ing style.

Take care,
Claire
