Please touch me
like you did before
let me feel your magic
just once more

Don't turn away-
there's still so much
I need to say

Don't leave me
don't go now
to live without you
I don't know how

I don't want
for you to die
I'm not ready to say good-bye.

Very, VERY touching indeed. Such a feeling deserves poetry and poetry deserves it.

I loved this, SEA. I remember reading somewhere once that poetry is the thoughts we use to fill -- and, I'll add, enrich -- our silence. This shows that beautifully.

So very sad

 Have you ever noticed
That the words...
"Goodbye"
"I'm sorry"
"I love you"
Are so easy to pronounce
...Yet so hard to say

SEA, I don't think any of us are ever ready to say goodbye.  You've captured a universal sentiment here - and one that is very real for me right now.

Thanks for sharing.  WendyLynne

another lovely poem, Sea!  The worst is when when never get a chance to say goodbye and  closure never really comes.

I imagine that this poem was a tough one to write and I admire the fact that you did write it and shared it with us.
