I read every word searching
for pieces of me
in the manner
of an orphaned child,
scanning faces of strangers
praying for a glimpse
of eyes like mine
and a grin slightly bent.
And O Glory,
how heaven sent,
how profoundly reassuring
to hear familiar voices sing--
drown out discordant murmering--
making lonely misery
nothing but mere memory.

You all have my humble gratitude.

I've been here only but a few days
myself ... seems as though it took
forever to find this corner of heaven
After running the Gauntlet of troll
infested news groups, where one seems to
die a thousand deaths well ...
the invitation to here I met with skepticism
Glad I came!!!

So hard to say things the right way sometimes.
You have a talent to bring the thought to the image.
Thanks
