From up here on my soft and not so comfy cloud
watching my friends those beautiful stars
quiet ones dreaming drowning out the loud
all give so much hope none can be disbarred

As they twinkle high above the ocean
they dazzle so you think they're near
picking up on you and your emotion
clouds full with all our unshed tears

far below the ocean swells on atmosphere
knowing when you want to ride the waves
or looking for a chance to disappear
how much we indicate by the way we behave

Sun in all her glory peeps out to say hello
dawn lifts up and clears away mist and fog
limping slightly scarred from life's inferno
surviving the moon and star's last epilogue

The grape passes through the press to yield wine.
Your life must pass through the press of passion and pain to yield the wine of wisdom..

Somewhere over the 'Rainbow'
this angel sits and sees ...
all the love through the sunshine
smiling down on me.

Thanks for this lovely piece of your heart.

I've suffered from the fear of heights....but seeing the beauty that you see from up there; do you have room for one more on your cloud?!
Love this Rainbow...quite beautiful...

I like this very much, RG... particularly the last verse!

And ROFL @ Balladeer... he made the leap from Seventh Heaven to Cloud Eight... and then there's the slight problem of the Atlantic! *G*
