The Shadows I Make
~Marge Tindal~

The shadows
I make
as through life
I traipse
will cling to my path
no matter what path I take

I cannot dodge the shadows
so I strive to see
that the shadows I leave
don't come back
to haunt me
in the shadows
of my memory

Liked this one a lot~

Goes along the lines of burning your bridges, I believe~

(A lesson I learned just last year- never burn them!)

I enjoy this very much the first time.

The second time (over coffee with the girls) was even better. It makes you stop and say..."How True".

up late,
we we're hoping those shadows wouldn't be following us too. Thank God for His pictures and protections... It's terrible that we can't know who is who..! M. Tindal we love you.

Denise-
Thanks, gal.

Danny-
I appreciate your thoughts.

Seymour-
You know I'm glad you like it.

WhiteDove-
It is true, isn't it?
We should always be aware
of the shadows we leave.

Marie-
I'm glad you liked it.

Mike-
Thanks.

Sunshine-
Well, I have a short, sweet, simple shadow.

Shelley-
What a thoughtful thing to say.
How wonderful that you share us with
'the girls'.

Lucky-
Awwwwww !  You two are in my heart too.
I KNOW who I am ... and I KNOW who my
friends are ... count you two in BIG TIME !

Oh how wise, such words from thee
of shadows, cast, so fittingly
when stray we from the path we know
our shadow follows, e're we go.

Wonderful poem, Marge! How true!

When Kronos' art unmakes us, each the same,
The shadow cast is all that shall remain.

--Me (hehe)

An intriguing thought, and one I have shared.  Well done, Marge!

Full fathom five thy father lies,
Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...
