            Sanctuary

When I give vow the wed of sleep,
I search within this lair of reap,
A place to share the elsewhere.

A point perhaps where I do hide,
A sanctuary of abide.
A neighborhood of safe declare.

A berth where I can soothe my ill.
A place where I can air my will.
An area, where I am bare.

Through the corridors of maroon,
A place to mend and lick my wounds.
A tend where prey can utter prayer.

From the acids that eat my goal.
A place where I can treat my soul.

That brings back fond memories of cuddling in my father's lap - the safest feeling in the world.

Seymour, once again you've shared a mixture of darkness and light, comfort and contrast. Very nicely shared, I might add. I admire your language use.  Thank you. This is wonderful.

Well put Sir Tabin... "A place where I can treat my soul."  Sanctuary?... found in the love of my wife and daughters, for there is no better place to be.
