When your mind refuses to answer
and longs for an alternative track
because once you have an answer
you know there's no going back

I've reached that impasse
the thought goes round and round
don't want to take another step
do I go up or down?

My eyes plead in silence
my mouth stays firmly shut
cause once the words are out
there's no maybe, if or but

I thought I'd toss a coin
another way to choose
can only be - head or tails
but will I win or lose

So I sit in silence
on the edge of a cliff
taut like a puppet
unbending and stiff...

Sitting next to you on the cliff....giving you a big hug.....telling you a dirty joke  ...walking away from the cliff together to find the end of a rainbow and see if we can possibly find that pot of gold. Darn, a leprechaun just walked away with it ! Have to find ourselves another rainbow ! Hmm, I walking right beside one and she sure is made of gold.   HUGS.

Some decisions are tougher than others...if there is anyway I might be able to help, let me know, okay? Sometimes when someone is on the 'outside' of a problem, they can see it differently. Wonderful poem, of course!

Denise:  Thank you sweetheart, but it was about my dithering as to whether to post something or not..ROFL...and my other personality got the better of me...so I fell off the cliff and posted..

Keep in mind though Cindy, I mean what I say and say what I mean.   HUGS

Rainbow Girl-
I can just hear you trying to convince
'other personality' not to do something.

This is just great.

I like that 'edge of the cliff' image ..
been there !
Like you ... closed my eyes and leaped !

Sweet dreams..

Marge: Well, WH (Wanton Hussy)is a real rascal and likes to have her own way and in case you wonder about the name, now and then this Rainbow gets a delicious thought and a few tease me about it,so if you ever see WH being mentioned, you now know why..*g*..but I'm quite shy really, hence the dual personality..

It's good to free fall of cliffs though, gives a different perspective on life..

Hey!
This is MY cliff!
(Who's Cliff anyway???)
'Lessin you're Supergirl,(and you can't be, 'cause that's Sharon,) you'd better be standing at the edge of a VERY shallow cliff!

HUGS & HUSG m'friend!
