Down along the waterfront
the sun begins to set.
Dreams were cast upon the wind,
the place where they'd first met.

What happened to the joy,
that once was found as two?
What happened between them,
to cause them both to rue?

There's a longing in their hearts
that is hued a red with rage,
from a perfect love written
upon an imperfect page.

Childomine-
I thought it was a pretty perfect poem.
Thanks for sharing this.
