I feel as lively
As a kid.
She says she likes
Some stuff I did.

I feel as spry
As I can be.
She likes to spend
Her time with me.

It's hard to keep
Feet on the ground.
It seems she likes
To have me 'round.

I will not add
A final verse.
To say too much
Might turn out worse.

'Tis such a great
Relief indeed..
Some simple thought's
Just what I need

For all that time
On mine I spent,
My poor brain now
Is really bent.

For reading mine
I thank you Ted,
But I'm enjoying
Yours instead!!

To Nan:

But mine just came
Without no pain.
I didn't need
To wrack my brain.

But your verse was
So cataleptic,
I feel I need
An anesthetic.

I guess I'll get
A dictionary,
And prove I too
Can be so very . . .

Good thoughts, Ted..and so true that too much said can be harmful...knowing when to stop...now there's the key.

I'm simple, so it works best if I write simple.  Like they say, deep down I'm shallow.

Hey, forget about Balladeer's gas-run baby, Long John, ask about *my* milk-run model!  It's *my* poem, ain't it!
