A BUS RIDE...... I am sitting on the bus Looking at these people And wondering what they're thinking Looking back at me Do they see a woman, filled with confidence and perfection Always happy, always smiling Always free Or do they see a woman With her heart a little fragile With tears beneath the surface Waiting for the moment when her face will tell the story of an requited love... Am I that transparent - even on a bus? |

While looking out from behind these eyes I often think with great surprise the eyes I'm looking in are looking back at me then I smile ... confident that they see the very best in me.
