The moon, among other things,
will always be there-
So bright, so beautiful,
to be seen everywhere.

Something to look up to,
day in and day out-
To stare at, wondering...
what it's all about.

To love, to comfort,
till the end of my days-
To pray to, confide in,
whenever I'm in need.

Seeing it, so fragile,
just coasting through the stars,
I look up at your brightness,
so close, yet so very far.

Will you be here tomorrow-
to ease my distorted nerves-
to send me off to dreamland,
with your silent words?

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

So beautiful, so very beautiful Devina...

Constants and Symmetry...two of my absolute favorties.  If only the world were composed entirely of such perfections!  Liked this one very much!

Beautiful piece!!!!
I haven't seen very many poems around here written about the moon...I think it's about time someone addressed the ancient orb that has been drifting serenely through the black, star-specked pool we call space.

Again, wonderful poem!

You sure know how to paint the stars
So very enchanting, wanting, seeking
A true "Devina" I love it
Here is a hug for yah  "HUG"

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Devina, all my life I have looked at the moon with a special kind of wonder, especially when it's full. Pulls at me, comforts me somehow...... I loved your poem.   -SEA

I chanced to looked into your eyes today,  And I saw the Moon.

I'm a lot better person for doing so,
Thanks to you!  You've touched my heart...

With a kiss and butterfly beauty,
I wipe this tear.

Hey there!!!
Devina, I see with this, that you shine just as brightly as the moon itself!!!
