One More Time
~Marge Tindal~

Let me love you
one more time
till all the days are night
Hold me until the dawn is breaking
over the meadow bright
~
Revel in this
love nest
made
with
you
in mind
Darling
let me love you
one more time
~
Each day getting closer
to the end of love we share
Let me love you one more time
then please go before I dare
Dare  to keep you  forever
locked within these arms
darling let me love you
one more time so
you will know
I care
~
Perhaps you will
remember when you
are gone so far away
the love that waits
for you here
forever
and
a
day
~

I really enjoyed this poem -- and wow, is February 14th so close so soon! I especially like the unintended effect of the last two stanzas, which look like hearts.

Thanks Mike -
and 'here's lifting that
fine heart-shaped
wine glass to you'...
but straight from the heart !

I'm glad you liked it and
yes, that romantic day is coming.
The hearts will open and the loving
thoughts will flow to the pages for
us all to see.
~Marge~

Beautiful poem and formatting, Marge! To me it looked like two hearts with an arrow through it...I guess we all see things differently! Whatever your intentions, I know it was intended! (hehe...did that make any sense?!)

So there is a nice piece of poetry and art combined
So beautifully constructed and intwined
I wonder who that gentleman might be
For whom she fill the glass weheh
I no for it ain't me (bummer)
A nice and lovely poem Marge
When are you going to stop out doing yourself

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Lucky-
The fact that you found it so lovely
makes my heart smile.

Elizabeth, my friend-
Thank you, love.

Denise-
I think your eyes saw what my heart
tried to 'intentionally' pen.
Thanks for being you.

Rosemary-
Coming from the lady who is the
artiste extraordinare ...
I am elated.  A hug for you.

Helmut, my friend-

Ahhhh !  Thank you dear one.
I would fill the glass
if you would but drink
the heady wine of love.
The heart with loving
thoughts of you is already filled.

You romantic, you !
Love ~*Marge*~
