Balladeer's getting a Mercedes
today
Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy!
This is the car he's dreamed of
His pride, his joy, his toy

Can't you see him tooling around
town?
So handsome for all to see
The ladies waving their hankies
around
"Oh please Sir...Please notice
me!"

So our Balladeer's getting his
Mercedes today
A dream it seems has come true
The man, the car, the ladies, the
power
Happy driving my 'Deer to you...

Okay guys, give me a break!...The
medication, you know....hehehe

Baladeer was seen tooling round town
His brow was furrowed
His gaze cast down
Everyone said 'Oh Deer
Please what could it Be??'
To which he replied,
'Merce(y)dese payments --
they're killing me!!'

Very nice work Pepper!!!

Congratulations Baladeer

(BTW Pepper -- you asked me sometime back about getting Cuban Cigars -- you have to go to Canada or Mexico to get them -- but they really aren't worth the trouble dear -- the Domincan's are just as good and sometimes better -- but they all come from 'Cuban Seed' tobacco -- which was my reference in that poem.)

Gee, I'm sorry for all the confusion, folks. You see, I met this cute little Cuban girl on South Beach last week named Mercedes and when I said I was picking up ....ONLY KIDDING!!!

Pepper, this is a fantastic poem, you self-proclaimed non-writing poet, you. Man, you can write with the best of them!

Thanks for all the nice comments....you have it right, Rebel. But I've been a junk and clunker kind of guy all my life (like a Toerag, you know) so I just said why not???

God bless bugs!!!!

Pepper-
This is precious and wonderful.
And of course I'm happy for Balladeer.
I'm not even jealous or anything !
I'm not !
Can't think of a nicer fellow for
it to come to.
Way to go, Michael.
I'm not even jealous or anything !

Oh, can we put the top down and
go to the beach ?

KAMLA ! .... Balladeer's going
'nekkid' to the beach !
But it's okay ... I've got a towel
for him !

Pepper .... keep those news stories coming.
Great poetic announcement, gal.
Love ... love .... love ~*Marge*~

Whatever pills you having send me one
What a nice poem and so well done
A "Mercedes" and the pill
Watch out there Balladeer don't hit an oily spill
"Mercedes" was the daughter from Mr Daimler or Mr Benz
For Balladeer another "Girl" I guess it's all what depends lol
So ladies don't step up in line
He is with a four wheeled Lady and ain't on a set of in-line'
I guess I let him drive the "better" (Star class)
Well done there, I enjoyed this Pepper

Bravo Bravo Lady!
A poet you say you are not
but the words flow and never stop
I've seen it all along waiting to crop
So let it flow from within you
I will read them all not just one or two.

Michael's on the road with his new wheels
Giving all the ladies chills
His charasmatic words will not be a need
when he drive up on Main with his new steed.
A true stud muffin you are Mr. 'deer
Watch out ladies Bal has new gear.

Pepper, you didn't tell me you posted this...keeping secrets?  Kudos, dear girl, albeit it COULD have been the meds...

And Deer, no matter whether the Mercedes is girl or wheels, IT probably has one classy chassey.
