Shine your brightest wink your most

We are all fireflies of heavens glow,
Part of the greenery and waters flow.
A light within a periods clime
And very short in earthly time.

I think of us as fireflies,
A moments light and then goodbye.
To add another pinch of dust,
Upon this common earthly crust.

Therefore I am prone to say,
Enjoy each moments light of stay.
Know the paradox of coalesce.
And don't complain and make a mess.

We are each, a candle I say,
A light in the dark, in a way.
Each create a shadows flare,
And each a point of declare.

So shine your brightest, wink your most
And be the best your single toast.

Seymore....Yanno?..I'm gettin' to hate you as much as I do Balladeer! I'm sick and tired of all these talented people, with such great artistry and wisdom posting such stuff!.....I guess what ya wrote here is pretty damn good...in fact I know it is!....But being a Toerag, I've learned one thing about myself......"A wink's as good as a nod to a blind mule".....The story of my life!!

Sy
I am just a firefly
Fluttering and flying by
Winking and blinking as I go
Lighting up the best I know
Living and loving the very most
And now let us have a toast
This is a wonderful poem
Love ya

What wise and encouraging words

I can live with the idea
That we are merely actors
Playing a part
But I do wish
Whoever is writing my script
Would learn to use
A few more Happy Endings

Not only emazed by the wisdom
But by the words also
Wow.

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
