Of Love
-------------

The kiss is sweet
Our bodies meet
We feel the touch Of Love

In our Journey
On roads smooth and rocky
We learn our strength Of Love

To the future
We promise forever
To give our Vows Of Love

Down the Isle
The Wedding recital
We accept the Bonds Of Love

The gold we carry
To honour and cherish
Is our Pledge Of Love

When we throw away
Those vows we say
We release the Rings Of Love

In today's world, isn't it sad how easily those vows get thrown away? Excellent poem. -SEA

SEA, thank you. Life is ever changing and Love is usually the victim.

Very touching James, glad to see that commitment is part of your definition of *LOVE*...I wish more people thought this way...much love ~D

I love this!  It says in delicate, loving language, just how I feel about my husband, and our marriage.

Parker,

creatively conceived,
simply put,
well expressed,
bitterly ended.

......muchly liked?
Take care,
Claire

Very interesting poem. Having gone through 2 divorces and many broken dreams, this one got me. I just hope to one day regain the "Rights Of Love".

Well done.

The heart's lonely lessons never seem to be finished, do they?

Well said in this poem, my friend.
