Lonely Star

I look up the brightest star
As I gaze into the night
Reminds me how alone we are
Each having their own light

Each star is like a person
Within a crowd they are alone
Their appearance is not spoken
Just implied from what they’ve shown

Sometimes we see things different
From the way they really are
To see so many shinning
We don’t see that lonely star

So next time you are passing
Seeing many from afar
Take a moment to look inside them all
And see that lonely star.

So many memories of wishing on one of those really bright stars.

Thank you for this wonderful poem

You can certainly be lonely in a crowd. I have been many times. Very nice poem

To be alone is sometimes wonderful, even in a crowd, but to be lonely is empty when you want to be full.  Good poem!
