Please join us all as we give our strength and love to Elizabeth and Tony Santos....a kind of cyber prayer chain if you will....please know that your Passion's Family is praying for you at this time.....

Out of the desert sands grows
A flower of delicate hue
Buried for a millennium
And unearthed just for you

God saw the weeping in your soul
And comforted you with his tears
The rains imbued his sadness
And gave peace to all your fears

Miracles are God’s way of saying
Each of us is a tender flower
So in these days of darkness
Seek the miracle’s power

Have faith in God and His strength
Give love to those in need
With that and hope, you may find
A miracle in this seed.

I believe in miracles
They are very real
A blessing from the Lord
That He will not conceal

A miracle performed
Is praise unto His name
For the blessing that He gave
In hopes His love we'll claim

Lord look down upon Anthony
And heal him with your touch
And bless his loving wife, Liz
For she loves him very much

Lord I know you hear us
Please answer our friends prayer
And help him heal quickly
To return to her love they share

Cause I believe in miracles
I've seen what God can do
For He can heal Anthony
And give comfort to you too!

God Bless you both!
In my prayers

Elizabeth, I always find beauty and inspiration in your words.  I do not know what troubles are on you and your husband, but I hope and pray that all turns out well. You will be in my thoughts.

 It matters not how strait the gate;
How charged with punishments the scroll;
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Elizabeth, you and your husband will be in my thoughts and in my prayers until the Lord sees fit to heal him and send him home to you.  May His angels give you comfort until your own comes home.

Full fathom five thy father lies,
Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

True Rest

The vi'lent storm is thrashing 'round
The giant waves upon me pound
And though I search so desperately
This raging storm is all I see.

And yet I know deep down inside
This too will pass, this shall subside
Yes, this rising tide, this raging sea
It shall not always ravage me.

Dark clouds will pass, the sun will shine
And once again - a calm shoreline
Oh, the gulls will swoop, my heart will soar
My soul shall sing like ne'er before.

I know He's true, He'll give me rest
He gives His peace when I'm oppressed
Yes, and even 'midst the storms to be
He'll be right there - He'll rescue me.

My prayers are with you both, Elizabeth and Anthony for healing and peace.

Love,
Denise

Angel

Sometimes you walk alone, feeling so forlorn
I am right behind you, although I am not born
Sometimes you feel sad, something pulls you down
I am the one that carries you and your thorny crown
Sometimes you are scared,  you do not know where to turn
It’s me, you have to trust and learn
Sometimes you are hopeless, lost every way
I am the one that calls and tells you what to say
Sometimes when you need me the most
I follow you, but I’m just a ghost
I spread my wings to cover you
Because I’m your angel no matter what you do.

My prayers are with you both

I may not know everyone and their lives all that well.  But I do know one thing...I know what a loving friend is.  And everyone here is overflowing with it.  I never knew that poeple could be so kind and understanding and caring to others of whom they might have just met.  So let me say one last thing, befor I fall asleep smiling out of the joy that fill my heart tonight.  "I love you all "

It is times like these that I truly wish as friends we could give you more than our words as comfort. Accept these virtual hugs and my honest wishes for strength for you.

When troubles seem to drag you down,
Talk to the one who is always around,
He'll listen with patience, answer with love
And send you strength from heaven above.

Your friends here are numbered so high,
Offering love, concern and care,
This place we've found, where friends abound,
And good listeners are never rare.

If aching hearts could hold the power
To just reach out and heal
We'd send that to you now, dear friends.
All we can do is kneel
And offer up our prayers to God
That he will help you cope
With whatever comes your way
As we send love and hope.

Into each life of sunshine
They say some rain must fall
And before the winter cruelity
We've the beauty of the fall
Our life is full of ups and downs
With bad there too comes good
And in this time of trial
Dwell on the things you should
Remember that God gives no burdens
He thinks we can not carry
And that he's there to lift us up
When we are down and weary
Remember also, you have friends
Who wish you all the best
In in remembering all these things
You'll find you have been blessed
And so we offer up our prayers
In this your time of need
May God grant you health and healing
And all within good speed

Liz and Anthony, my thoughts and prayers are with you...God bless you both richly

Unto each life a teardrop falls
Lord, I honor thy name
Unto each life an angel calls
Lord, I honor thy name

Unto my life a friend came in
Lord, I honor thy name
Unto my life he did away sin
Lord, I honor thy name

Unto you I say a prayer in kind
Lord, I honor thy name
Unto you I say, “peace of mind”
Lord, I honor thy name.

Elizabeth - These words are from my Nana's collection of poetry.  She wrote them to my grandfather when he fell ill... She, too, was totally devoted to her husband...

While You're Ill
by Velma M. Carlson (1903-1996)

It takes a lot of courage never to
...complain
When you are blue and discouraged
...and suffer lots of pain.
It's hard to take in on the chin ~
...to smile and say "I'm swell"
When all the time you're really ill
...and feeling far from well.
It takes a lot of courage, a mighty
...lot, I'd say.
But you must grin and bear it.
...There is no other way.
The doctor's working mighty hard
...to help you get well,
So when he makes the rounds today
...just say, "I'm feeling swell."
It takes a lot of courage, but
...start in now and smile.
Don't give up and say "I'm sick."
...It's really not worthwhile.
Spread a little sunshine.
...Drive those clouds away.
Make those around you happy.
...Then, you've really won the day.

All of your poems are so beautiful and I can hardly type through my tears, knowing there are so many prayers for Tony. We are so much more hopeful now that we have been in contact with some of the top specialist in the country, who say that they have treated
similar cases and they are encouraging. I think in the end, this may turn out alright. I will know more on Friday, but I thank you all for being so supportive through this nightmare. You are wonderful friends to have
