Dancing Shadows In the Moonlight [in Response to Poems Previously Posted]

Ruth, she comes forth on a whim
and mystically draws all the good ones in
with a rhyming lure mind you,
no, 'tis not a curse, you silly fool!

But with a wave she draws in Marilyn,
with mystic forces in skies a'beckon,
then Marge and Skyfyre come along
Ruth has them humming all a song…

Soon Sharon joins, and Denise she stays
immersed in Ruth's mysterious ways
to bring to one and all some delight
of Dancing Shadows in the Moonlight.

Ruth brings out her pen-like wand
encircling all with poetic bond
and there twinkles a magic gleam
amidst starlight and moonlight beam.

Ruth whispers, her voice a mere dream
under dancing shadows in the moonlight,
and wither you come to her, 'tis foreseen
under dancing shadows in moonlight's beam.

And now you've joined the enchanting circle, Sunshine! Ruth's magical pull is very strong, is it not?! Well done, Sunshine, this is beautiful!

And Mike, you too! Get on over here with that beautiful moonlit primrose, will you?!
You can hang out with us girls any old time!

Sunshine-
What a unique and precious poem.
Hoot/Ruth will just love it for sure.
Great ..... has this been a great
challenge or what?

If there's a ~Challenge Hall of Fame~
I would suggest that it is haunted with
'Shadows Dancing In The Moonlight'

Dancing Shadows in the Moonlight.
I don't follow quiet
Should I need a guide
Surley dancing brings delight
So help my out my friends in poerty so wide
What is a challange and who is the guide
How does a challange come about I don't understand this slide
Well written there your poem you shine so bright
before i do forget I go outside
and will be Dancing in Moonlight

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

I don't buy temporary insanity as they murder defense. Because
people kill people.  That's and animal instinct. I think breaking
into someone's home and ironing all their clothes is temporary
insanity.

Great stuff here, Sunshine ...

Your name suits you -- you always bring a beam of sun.

--Kess

Full fathom five thy father lies,
Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

I like yours! Very nicely done! Glad to see that little bout of 'writers block' is gone!

Ahh, I was just having fun with this one - everyone did such a marvelous job, there was no way I was going to attempt to enter the fray, but thought instead to beam on everyone's head!

Thanks for the wonderful comments, Everyone!
