One More Step Beyond The Grave
~Marge Tindal~

Take my hand, oh, precious Father.
Lead me where you'd have me go.
You've walked with me through valley's fire
and I have truly loved you so.

I am tired and I am weary.
I've done all that you would have me do.
Lord, please send an angel for me,
so I can finally be with you.

When you touched my heart,Lord,
in sweet surrender all I gave.
Send an angel here to guide me,
one more step beyond the grave.

Through the years I've been so faithful,
I have surrendered all to you.
Time for you to keep your promise.
Take me home to be with you.

When you send an angel for me,
I will leave this worldly woe.
Just inside the gates of Heaven,
friends and loved ones I've missed so.

I will sing to angel's trumpets,
joined in singing songs of old.
I will gaze in awesome wonder,
walking streets of purest gold.

When the angel comes to take me
home beyond the pearly gates.
Lord, please know that I'll be ready.
I know that I can hardly wait.

I am ready, Lord, and waiting.
All I had to you I gave.
Send an angel now to lift me,
one more step beyond the grave.

*A special goodbye to a friend who has
gone home to meet her maker.
She asked me to write her a song.
It will be sung tomorrow at her memorial service.
Goodbye dear friend.

One of the most gracious gifts I have seen Marge.  I am thankful that I know you.  In sorrow for your loss.< !signature-->

I don't buy temporary insanity as they murder defense. Because
people kill people.  That's and animal instinct. I think breaking
into someone's home and ironing all their clothes is temporary
insanity.

Paul-
Your kind words meant a lot.

Balladeer-
Thank you, love.

DarkAngel-
Thank you for the kindness.

Bad Boy-
You aren't so 'bad' after all.
But we won't tell.

First_Knight-
And, likewise, I'm thankful for knowing you.
Friendships shared.

Munda-
Your kind words are appreciated.

Poet deVine-
Thank you for your thoughts.

*At a sunrise memorial this morning from a small chapel overlooking a lake, I joined the friend who set this to music for me in a heart-rendering tribute to a friend.

She got to hear this song just last Wednesday evening.  Her angel came and took her home just before the dawn on Thursday.
I am lifted in spirit by knowing that she is home.

Marge...I don't know what to say. This is so touching and poignant. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. This is a beautiful tribute to someone who must have been a beautiful person in her lifetime. I am so glad to hear that she able to hear it before "going home".

Oh, Marge, this is heartrendingly lovely!  Most poignant and meaningful, and beautifully written.  May I keep it in my files?  And what's more, would I ever have permission to share it at a Christian person's funeral, as long as I included your name?  I've never heard one so perfect, and filled with love and hope, though I've been to more funerals over forty years, than I could possibly count, and most of them have been the funerals of Christians; mostly children, along with a handful of adults.  I've written my share, too, but yours is the master.

Marge, you're an angel in disguise. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend's family. May God bless you both, and keep watch over you now in your time of loss.

Wild Child-
I heard the whirring of angel wings as homeward my friend was transported.
I'm only glad that Maria Angela Bernadette got to hear this gift she asked me for.

Eloise-
Thank you for your kind thoughts.

Hoot-
Maria Angela Bernadette had no family other than a close family of friends. She entered my life at a time that she felt unworthy of life.  Through a true loving friendship she came to be a integral part of a wide circle of love.
Thank you for the kindness of your thoughts.

Martie-
She did indeed love this song.
Thanks for you loving thoughts.
Corrine-
Thank you, dear.

Denise-
Thank you for your kindness.
It will be sung again at sunset.

Rosemary-
You may keep it and you may share it.
Maria Angela Bernadette would have liked that.
I give you ~Maria's~ song to sing someone else's angel home.  Bless you, Rosemary.
~Maria's~ spirit wrote the song.

Pattie-
Oh, hon .. I may 'fly' close to my friends, but God sends angels to comfort us all.

WhiteDove-
I have 'seen' the angel of Maria Angela Bernadette.
She would have liked the angel picture.
Thank you for such a thoughtful kindness.
