Thank You So Very Much

When I think about my life,
And wonder how I got here.
I can’t help but smile to myself,
Even with each and every tear.
So much pain,
Yet so many good times.
So many ups and downs,
Of so many kinds.
And when I think of you,
The purest joy fills my heart.
Knowing I have such a good friend,
Ever since the start.
You help me when in need,
You guide me when I’m lost.
You gaive the best advice,
When ever my life is crossed.
Throughout all of our struggles,
You have still been there.
And I thank you for that,
Because I know that you care.
It feels so good to know,
I have a friend at my side.
Without you, I’d be lost.
With you, my soul will glide.
Through the peaks and valleys of life,
You always understand.
You have loved me with all of your heart,
From beginning to end.
I have one last thing to say,
One last hug to give.
You are far and away my very best friend,
And will be, as long as I live.

--Dedicated to my dearest friend Sumeet Aggarwal…thank you

If you love your friend-tell her often. If I were her, I'd want to hear it! -SEA

One Who Understands-

This is 'far and away' a super
tribute of love for a friend.
It really is.

Excellent emotion here. Everyone needs a friend like this. You are fortunate to have one....and so is your friend.

A very sweet tribute. I don't think I've ever had a friend like that. I do have lots of close friends, but I feel more like it's me having to hold myself up, and I've never had someone to look up to so unabashedly. I think that's probably true for a lot of people, and that makes your friendship described here even more sweet (and, for me, fleeting). Thanks for sharing.
