Her eyes burn like fire, full of passion.
Melting my frozen heart with a glance.
Her sweet and soft touch, like rose petals.
Our hearts meet in midair.  Love is sparked.
The promises.  The dreams.  Eternity?
Shattered.
Empty.
Frozen.
Again.
Someone so special to me, killing me.
Again.
Her flames have scorched my heart.
I am alone....
Again.

This is really sad Corey, I am sorry.

I can feel the rise and fall of emotion in this one. This is the tone and effect I love in a poem. A delightful find.

Don't gain my affections and cover my eyes. In blindness I will only swing harder.

How very sad indeed

Sad and beautiful. Wonderful expression of the pain.
