Gaze into my heart, to see how I feel. Spare me some time, but don't send a bill. Bestow me the power, to do what I can. Step into my shoes, to know where I stand. Present to me, a reason to live. Take from me, all that I have to give. Enlighten me, with all that you know. Turn me loose, but don't let me go. Touch me, but watch where you touch. Want me, but not quite as much. Need me, as I've needed you. Capture my dreams, and make them come true. Stay with me, when nobody's there. Care for me, when no one else cares. Cover me, when I need to hide. Walk on me, but don't step on my pride. Loathe me, but not much at all. Catch me, if I ever fall. Rescue me, when I need to be saved. Carry me, but not to my grave! ~*~ ^i^ ~*~ Love is such a lonely art, and death is but a taste. Minds are merely instruments that often go to waste! ~*~ ^i^ ~*~ |

Shawna...I never thought of myself as having magical ways with my words to cut to the heart of everything, thank you, *blush* Rosemary...I am glad that you liked this! I too like the last two lines, kind of has a special meaning right now to me Dark Angel...Glad you liked it!
