The way I see life
it's not so bad
when the bills are paid
and you have your health,
weathers clear so the sky is blue
and I'm working outside in the afternoon
when it came to mind
that all people don't see
their jobs and their lives
the same as me.

It's just my point of view,
the way that I see,
life through my eyes
and it's only for me
not for you to agree,
it's just my point of view.

The way I see the earth
it's a real mess,
coast to coast to coast
East and West,
we are killing all the animals
destroying the land,
people are going hungry
we should all lend a hand,
most wish they could
but the rich don't understand.

It's just my point of view,
way that I see,
life through my eyes
and it's only for me,
not for you to agree
it's just my point of view.

The way I see myself
I'm a pretty nice guy,
landscape all I can
just trying to get by.
Ask me to go sailing
just give me a minute
to put down my guitar
we'll drive down and get in it.
I love the outdoors
the mountains or seas
but I really love my wife
she's most precious to me.

It's just my point of view,
way that I see,
life through my eyes,
and it's only for me
not for you to agree,
it's just my point of view.

SnglDad stirred me to dig deep into the archives
to retrieve this Thanks SnglDad!

I can see you with your guitar, a far away dreamey look in your eyes, singing this.  Very lyrical. I can almost hear the melody in my mind.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

Thanks you are all too kind.
This one actually started out
with the melody first
and is kind of fun,
acoustically speaking,
unfortunatley,
I can't sing,
so they all sound better
if I just read them.

Paul, God couldn't have picked a better one to see life through your eyes!
Superb writing!
