hurting myself...enjoying the pain
though im on empty space
calling out your name
and your not around..again
please dont think im blaming you
i built this ship..
can you believe
i thought we could sail away..
with the tears of sunshine
as our beacon
to light our way
we can be pretty and perfect
stunning and apathetic
like you admire
sitting by the open fire
ready to fall to pieces unknown
never willing to leave my heart ..alone

Jackal, this brought me through it with interest, the last line especially striking.

there is just something about your poetry that draws me......always.

"Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone
I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me."
