" Time is here "

Feelings lost
Never  found
No more time
Empty ness
Fills my heart
Once again
Ive lost the path
To me once seen
Not enough
To let me be
I fall and fall
Known not
Where I will land
Time is gone
Lost to the wind
Blown through time
My heart it cries
Space within
Open it never
Will I again

God i used to feel this way. I was so sure that it was such an easy task to shut my heart, but i soon learned that even if you dont want it when you find a love thats ment to be you cant help but open up agian. Dont lose hope and dont ever give up on love. I know that's hard advice to take but ive been there and i know. Beautiful peom and thank you for all the comments on my poems deeply appreciated.

How sweet this sound of terrible despair.  Sometimes the most sad emotions sound so elegant when written.  Easiest, sometimes, to keep the heart closed, than it is to allow it to open again.

Whiskey-
Melancholy words somehow
play that lonesome sound,
always returning to haunt us.
This is hauntingly lovely.

You may try to keep it closed but love will knock again someday and it will be all new but filtered through what you have learned.

Liked your poem very much.

Whiskey yes you will sometime in the future when the time is right.   Take care of that heart of yours.   Thought this was very well written.   James
