Starless Night
-----------------------
I look into a starry night
It reminds me of a poem I like
"The Night has a Thousand Eyes"
It conjures up a sadness I bare
About Love and Trust,
I lost them somewhere.
Though I search and search,
and my cries fill the air
Deserted in Love,
By a maiden so fair.
I look into a starless night
A thousand eyes have closed
For the one,
whose love has lost its light.

Cheer up, everyone is meant for someone, and if she left, then you deserve better!!!  Won't you smile once for me???

Sadly beautiful, well done, James! I could feel the loneliness in this.

Seems as though there is nothing lonelier than images of lost love on starry nights.

Been there, my friend!  Lovely work!

Oh devina, your so sweet, but its an old wound and I really am smiling now thanks.

Katie, we are never really sure are we, so we just believe otherwise we'd go insane.

Thanks Denise, but I think I got alot of help
from the other poem "The Night has a thousand Eyes" its really a beautiful piece.

Thanks Meadowmuse, thanks Corinne.

"Is the moon out tonight
I don't know if it's starry are bright
cause I only have eyes for you" An old love song that your poem brought back.  Well done poem but I wish you happiness in love.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

An absolutely wonderful poem!  It struck a note in my heart with such tenderness that i wondered if i had written it.  At least beautiful poetry can be derived from such sadness.

Thank you Martie, the moon is always out in my mind.

Thanks Sonny, we've all written these words in our heart at some point.
