I was recently searching through my notebook at noticed that the majority of my poetry is usually contains anger or sadness. I have written some happy one or different feeling ones like Moment of Truth, Bible, God, Christmastime, The greatest of all. I think my earlier poems had more happiness in them. I had a recent on #5 called Birthday too. I guess I need to make more happiness poems or something. Anyways, Heavy Mental is just one of those different feeling poems. It's like a journey through your mind. I hope y'll like it.

My thoughts blast off like a skyrocket,
with mercury ion rockets,
with the ability,
to defy gravity.
Search your pockets and check your watches
because time has cometh,
for you to ressurect your conscious.
Expand your minds
and whatever your soul seeks,
it shall find.
I'm traveling through space,
quicker than the speed of light.
I've changed flights, of comets and meteorites.
I've turned asteroids into alloys.
My soul, has unfolded into a black hole.
It's beyond the point of resusitation
but it's emancipated
like the slaves
but, 900,000 miles under a grave.
I've dreamed of reaching the Holy Land
and breaking bread with Abraham,
explaining to him that it's my destination.
to seek purification,
of my soul
because, it's black as coal.
I've been seeking mental pleasure for some time
because my mind,
is fixing to erupt like a land mine.
I'm searching for a place in space,
to be my permanent terrace.
Only God knows my space mode,
of unidentification like a UFO,
planning invasions,
abducting civilizations,
giving mutilations,
in underground military installations.
I'm walking on the globe, with a golden robe,
ready to claim my throne,
at the top
because, it's been my righteous home,
since my universal knowledge,
is too advanced for college.
On a metaphysical plane,
my words are flammable as propane.
I'm wearing a permanent mark just like Cane.
My thoughts radiate like sonic waves
and mind mind is darker than ancient caves.
I've been through it all,
trials and tribulations,
and has yet to fall.
People, take my words seriously
or face the montonomy,
of a lost opportunity.
Knowledge is essential
and that's why this poem is named Heavy Mental.

Wow ! Nathan -

It's 'heavy' alright.
And leaves me 'mental'ly challenged.
I've read it several times ...
seeing something new each time.

Thank you for a challenging look
into my 'mental' ... and perhaps beyond.
