LOVE HURTS BAD

LOVE WILL LEAVE AN EMOTIONAL CUT,
ONLY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT,
WHAT? CAUSED THE SCAR,
THE SCAR THAT HURT YOUR HEART NOT YOUR SKIN,
WHY? WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
WAS IT HER?
WAS IT YOU?
WHAT LEFT THE SCAR THAT HURT BOTH OF YOU.

Stephen I have written poems similar to this and it isn't Love that hurts it is the failure to Love or be Loved that hurts. Love is the goal. Love is the joy and the passion. Love can not be forced it is just something that happens. James

first i noticed the abrupt language and question, then that both were hurt, seems by the same scar. good read.
