I’m sitting by this screen
Hours lost within this magic dream
Where two can turn to one
And miracles are often done

Those words you sent to me
Are all I could want them to be
The truth sent from your heart
Holds us close though we’re apart

Though I can’t see your face
When in our secret special place
Can’t kiss your tender lips
Or trace your spine with fingertips

I hope you know I care
And I will be forever there

Entering in this game of chance
Thinking not, to find romance
Tender words, typed in the night
Words that send chills of delight

Countless cyber miles of separation
Bring many nights of sheer frustration
Are these words I write to you
Enough to show that I’ll be true?

I feel your breath upon my face
Only by imagination’s grace
I’ve felt your touch from the start
Not on my body but in my heart

I will, for you, be forever there
And hold you cherished in my care

The die was cast our fortunes sealed
Two hearts at last revealed
Both have the strength to show they care
Pronounce their love by being there

A million miles a step away
When measured by the things you say
A thousand seas could not deter
My love from being there

So you are there and I am here
But one things crystal clear
Together we shall always be
Two minds as one are we

Two people with one dream to share
Togetherness and being there

I will always feel the connection
to your heart and soul
until you wrote those first words to me
I was never whole

Now I live in expectation
of each post you write
in hopes that in your tender words

Wow...almost afraid to reply here. I feel like a voyeur or something and don't want to break the spell. Wonderful poem and lovely replies.
By the way...I know what a caul is and wondered why you chose that for your name?
