Ah Ted, I'll settle for promises kept anyday something to this effect... Promise that after rain the clouds will pass Promise that in the dark some light will shine Promise out of tragedy will blossum hope Promise that you'll give your heart to mine Promise that you'll stay and never leave Promise that you'll love me and that's forever Promise that we'll always talk things out Promise that you and I will be together But perhaps that's in a perfect world...nothing wrong with dreaming anyway |
