         What is beyond

How do I love her? I cannot say,
To say would be to limit the way.
For it lies beyond the narrow of me,
The boundaries of what I can see.

We live the future, stand in the past,
Forever in fear, ever in cast.
People are people no matter the coup,
They are, what they are subject to.

Live on a mountain, valley or shore,
People are people, single of core.
Wonder of wonders they live and thrive,
Wonders of wonders they be alive.

But being alive is not my point,
It's how do I love her in anoint.
I love her in ways cannot be told
And frankly I find there be no mold.

So I cannot do justice with my pen,
It's something like being in Eden again.

Sy,
You have written some beautiful poetry of late, in fact each and every poem is exquisite, worthy of your first published volume. And I do want an autographed copy of the first printing.

Yanno Sy......as Nan said, you are becoming one of them damn Romantics.....and I know you have ulterior motives too! All these ladies just drooling over your work and your "hunk" picture....yea, that's it.....I think you've even given LongJohn incentive...or at least the ideas anyhow.....Okay, so the poem's really good...blah, blah....yea, really well written and thought provoking...loddie, loddie....and the ladies are all swooning as if you were Elvis in the 60's......but other than your wit, heart, rhyme, talent, supposedly "hunk-like" looks and personality.....I don't see the big deal?...LOL

For someone who has no words you certainly expressed it well.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one
That loses speech, and then some
Glad you didn't lose your pen
where would we all be .... then
Nice one Sy....again

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Sir Tabin: The target known but unseen, scored through and through with your flight of words.  A marksman beyond compare within these poetic halls. I bow to you and yours.

Wonderful poem Seymour!

He posesses the golden pen
and he writes countless classics,
again and again.

There's not much more that I can say
There's magic when you write;
It sure would be a gloomy day
Without your pen's delight!   oh....I want one of those autographed books too!
