Lucie: This is beautiful and heartbreaking. I know you'll never stop grieving or wishing she'd made a better choice, but that won't stop you from trying to help someone else. And I'm glad of that, though I pray your heart isn't broken again. *S* At least she HAD a choice... before you, she didn't.
~*Like a lion, without fear of the howling pack, Like a gust of wind, ne'er trapped in a snare, Like a lotus blossom, ne'er sprinkled by water, Let me, like a unicorn, in solitude roam.*~ Hymn Of Buddha
Lady Lucie: I have no doubt from your words here that you tried your best, but it was not for you to save her... it was she who had to make that happen. Some people just don't have the strength to make it through, no matter how much love and support they are offered. Your poem speaks volumes for what you did and I hope that spark of humanity within you always burns bright for those whom have lost their way. My best to you and yours.

Oh dear Lucie....now I know why you haven't been back in full swing yet....I am so sorry. You did all you could do, as Andrew said. The rest was up to her, and she just wasn't strong enough. I am proud of you for trying. Keep you chin up....you must be going through a rough time with this. It's terrible...such a waste of a young precious life. You are in my thoughts babe. You know I'm here if you need to talk....Drop me an email or look for me on ICQ.....Love, Gen BTW, this poem was a beautiful tribute for her....
