         The Waterfall

Deep within a canyon sprawl,
In dancing, leaping, splashing fall,
Living waters' cavorting bright,
Shunting sun and sculpting light.

A vision of art to the eyes,
That makes for many heavy sighs.
With music to the listening ear,
Exploding, charming, splashing cheer.

I love the bubbling spray and dance,
Enchantment of each moments chance.
And ever a sprinkle touches me,
I feel a sense of ecstasy.

Natures palette painting bright,
Whispering song throughout the night.
Brings my eyes to tear inside,
In exquisite sort of pride.

There is no finer joy or wife,
Then recognition of this life.

Yes!, My very own feelings. This is a WONDERFUL poem, so full of life. There's something about perpetual motion of water that is so mesmerizing. Youve delighted me with these verses

The flawless rhyme and meter of this piece make for a far smoother flow than the waters of which you speak. Nice one SY

Especially liked the last two lines--but the whole poem of course was excellent.

Your words are flowing well...dear Sy
A master truly with each word and line

Excellent and very well done
So close to nature you have come
Thanks

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Has anyone ever told you that you meet our expectations, and then some?  Thank you!

This does indeed flow - a waterfall of words.

Hey - can I hold my cup beneath it and catch some, Sy?

- well done, well done, well done.
