Imagination's Destination

Floating above
the atmosphere of time
freely envisioning
kaleidoscopes
of natures abundance.

Soaring beyond reality
to footpaths of imagination
dancing with stars
twinkling upon riverbeds
creating sparkling waterfalls.

Frolicking down
the grassy meadow side
exhibiting freedom
of a delighted child
on a sun filled afternoon.

Creating pleasant images
as a means to delight
paying highest honor
to the continuous source
of imagination's destination.

Beautifully poem, Gloria.  I really love the third stanza...what a feeling that is.  And of course, there is but one, the creator, who deserves highest honor...very well done.

Very nice poem Gloria...it's amazing the places ones imagination can take them. I often thing of POWs and the people in concentraion camps who survived only by imagining themselves someplace different. Nice job!!

I am nothing without my imagination! I think it's a shame when children are discouraged from using theirs..and a bigger shame when adults have none....good poem!

Oh, and the places we can go...there's no limit! And no price! Everybody can go! Just one of God's many wonderful gifts! And thank you, Gloria, for this wonderful gift!  I enjoyed the trip!

This piece is striking in its natural elemental references...a fine poetic escape to the carefree meadows of youth. Thank you!

Excellent, dreamer. The imagination is everything. Reality is for people who can't face fantasy. Good work

It's already been said, but the description that you give to the imagination is remarkable.
