Dear dear Rose, Please read my reply, To your dear poem, Just because I, Have been where you are, And it's truly so sad, I know what it's like, Listen to old Toerag. I replied in your post ma'am...I doubt it will help..but read it if ya get the chance.....Guess a "father' can never know or feel the exact same thing as the mother...but I can feel a bunch of your anguish and hurt....... Dear Toerag, I am deeply moved and honored by your personal poem, in response to mine. I am also saddened that you have lost TWO daughters! Certainly, a father's grief is as great as a mother's, and I send hugs to you, no matter whether it was recent, or long ago, for the loss always remains - a hole in one's life. Sometimes that empty place flares up like a gaping wound, and other times heals for a while. Certainly, time helps, but, contrary to common belief, time does not heal all things. Your comforting and kind words have meant so much to me! I sent everyone an e-mail, who responded to that poem, with heartfelt thanks, but to you, I send a special one - your kindness, empathy, and thoughtfulness has meant a GREAT deal to me. Far beyond explanation! I have a darling loving husband who means the world to me, and all of the responses here have amazed him as well. Again, thanks from the bottom of my heart. |

How sweet, Toe....may they be the first to greet you when you walk though those gates. I sent this to Rosemary and also wanted to send it to you...of course, I had to change one word for you. Together, you and I will be, In the life beyond this one. Together in eternity, We'll greet the setting sun.
